Background
The 3-4-week expedition will begin with a road trip and bike tour from Santiago de Chile to the Atacama desert. For acclimatization, the Ojos del Salado, the highest active volcano in the world and the second highest peak in South America will be the next goal. In addition to road cycling and mountaineering Stephan will here also do some hike & fly with his paraglider to then be well prepared for the world record attempt. In addition to 6.000-meter-high peaks, also an impressive landscape awaits the expedition from volcanoes and deserts to the pacific coast and snow.
